Speaking MIC position

I have seen many people asking about the right MIC position and wondering whether it really affects the speaking.
I would say NO it doesn't matter as long as your voice is clear and breathing noise is not coming into your way, to avoid it you can position your mic as per the image below:

Mic provided in the exam is extremely sensitive that it could record even if you place it slightly above/ in front of your nose.
